For over 40 years, Caritas St Joseph’s has been supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to help them share their gifts and participate fully in their communities and the life of the Church.
We aim to fulfil our mission by…
Educating
communities and society at large to transform attitudes, enabling people with intellectual disabilities to achieve their potential.
Collaborating
with other organisations in the field and with people of all faiths or none, broadening our range of activities and services.
Integrating
children and adults with intellectual disabilities into their local communities and the Church.
Training
individuals and groups across the diocese to support people with intellectual disabilities.

Activities and Outreach
With over 200 students, our Lifelong Learning Centre in Hendon celebrates the gifts and talents of people with intellectual disabilities, and values their place in the world.
With our Outreach Work, we aim to integrate people with intellectual disabilities into the life of the Church.
Enterprise & Shop
Visit our shop to purchase items such as plants or ceramics that have been grown or made by our students.
Donate
Your donation will help us to continue our life-enhancing work of promoting and supporting full inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities.
